Each of our batiques have been uniquely created by local artists of Zimbabwe’s Hwange district. This batique has been made by Nozwelo Moyo, who is a member of the women’s cooperative in Zimbabwe. We are buying a selection of unique art from their cooperative and sell them to educate vulnerable school dropouts, many of whom are potential beneficiaries. With the sale they can feed their families and send their children and grandchildren to school.
All our proceed go directly into financing the education of empowermefirst Zimbabwe, which reaches the most vulnerable school dropouts like the women in this market. This sale pays for internet, solar panels, devices, and other infrastructure. empowermefirst.college is a global movement of volunteers who donate their time and knowledge to empower the youth.
